It's November, so of course it was the perfect day for the zoo. No, really! 75 degrees and sunny--we aren't getting too many more of those. The kids were delightful today at the zoo. Precious and obedient...I thought maybe we'd accidentally traded them with someone else. :) We only spent about 2 1/2 hours at the zoo, but they all missed naps and yet they were all happy. Wish I could bottle that and pull it out at bedtime!
Why do I get the feeling that someday we'll be the proud owners of some sort of disgusting insect?
Grammy sprung for some giraffe feeding. Thankfully, since I didn't have a cent to my name! Bennett LOVED it. Like, giggled and attempted to feed the plastic cup to the giraffe, loved it.
Tristan, not so much. Unfortunately, giraffes have lots of slobber on that blue tongue and you know how he feels about yucky hands.Sweet little gorilla girl. She was so interested in every animal. I love Election Day--it made my day to be able to take my big girl with us! Too bad I didn't make it back in time to vote...I feel like the country's worst citizen. It's the first election I've missed since I was old enough to vote. :(
Yes, you are a HORRIBLE citizen, you whose husband is in Afghanistan!!! :oP
