After a fun filled morning of
play dates with Jack,
Lyndi and Hannah Kate, we headed into an even more fun filled evening. Our MOPS Christmas party was tonight. Tristan has been looking forward to seeing Santa all day. This morning, he cried when I told him that it would be after dinner before we'd see him. I was expecting big things. What I got was Tristan's complete and utter refusal to go anywhere near Santa. Maura, on the other hand, was so excited to see Santa and Ms. Claus that she was jumping up and down and flapping her hands! She practically jumped into their arms!
Maura asked for a beautifully painted Pegasus. I'm glad she still likes to keep it simple!!
Bennett would NOT go sit with Santa either, but apparently Ms. Claus didn't seem too scary! Tristan had to be bribed just to get into the photo with Santa and he was none to happy about it! I remember him liking Santa a whole lot more last year! I had to drag out of him what he wanted for Christmas so we could make sure Santa knew. Hopefully Tristan will be in a bit more of a sharing mood tomorrow when we see Santa again!!
