Today was Tristan's My School Christmas performance. It was cute, as always. They got up, sang a few songs, did a few motions and we all clapped and took tons of photos. I wasn't sure if Tristan was going to participate initially. He was in the zone when he first got up on stage and was staring off into space, but the opportunity to shake jingle bells woke him up and he sang and did his motions like a champ.
A giant among children. I know that he's big, but seeing him up on stage beside his peers really brings it home to me! He is at least a head taller than anyone else in his class! There are several children in the class who are older then him too!
''Ring those Bells and stomp your feet!"
We had a slightly more successful Santa experience this time around. It helped that Santa knew his name...he still didn't want to sit on Santa's lap!
Bennett, on the other hand...
We had our annual Chili supper and Southern Lights tonight. We didn't end up going into the indoor stuff at Southern Lights, so I just have photos from dinner...where we tortured Bennett by offering him a cupcake and then taking them away. It's his own fault--he started screaming at the top of his lungs the moment that Mom got the cupcakes down. It was just too hilarious and I had to get a photo.
I can't stop laughing at that photo of Tristan up by his peers. Why do I have runts and you have Gynormo??? Too funny.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Santa looks a little skinnier this year! ;o)
