We got the costume today. THE costume, because once Tristan saw it, there was NO way he was going to be anything other than Lightning McQueen. He's so excited that he was putting it on before he even got into the house. The hard part is going to be keeping it clean between now and Halloween as he wants to wear it all the time.
You would not believe this kid. In addition to adding many more sounds and words over the past three weeks, he's become a comedian. This evening at dinner, he kept making faces and the kids kept laughing. Now I can say, "Bennett, make a face!" and he comes up with something like this! Too cute!We spent our morning meeting with the MOPS fundraiser team, and our afternoon playing with Sarah. Wish I'd gotten some photos of the kids all playing together. Yesterday, I took Maura over to see Sarah, just telling her that I had a surprise for her. When Sarah opened the door, Maura jumped on her and hugged her so hard that they almost fell over. Guess our girl missed her bestie--just like I missed her bestie's momma!
Ha, B makes face on command and C dances on command - they'd make quite the couple! Love Tristan's costume!
